Proud to be part of the engineering heritage of the West Midlands Husbands lifts have recently celebrated 50 years manufacturing at their Halesowen factory.
Our first lift was manufactured as a document hoist for Barclays Bank, over 2000 lifts followed for Barclays, Lloyds and the old Midland bank now part of HSBC, many remain in service today although electronic distribution has meant they are now more likely to be used for transporting tea and coffee.
As Husbands moved into a more varied market the client base has inevitably changed and today includes not only specialised work for individual clients but large and small construction companies with demands on project management and support for much larger projects more to the fore. Husbands has recently worked on lifts for The British Museum on behalf of lift consultants Butler and Young, and the New Birmingham Library/Repertory Theatre complex on behalf of Carillion.
From a cheese factory in Jeddah to a chip shop in Hull all our customers benefit from over 50 years of experience in the industry where project support and on time quality installations are all part of our lift delivery programme.
