Service and Maintenance

Your lift is an essential part of your business and to ensure safe and efficient working should be maintained regularly. This will not only keep the lift working when you need it most but will help meet Health and Safety directives and the Lift Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulations. Husbands can help you meet statutory obligations by agreeing and providing a servicing schedule for your lift.

Husbands have produced their Dumbwaiter lifts for over 50 years and our engineers are multi-skilled in manufacturing and installation, it would therefore make sense to use their expertise to maintain it! Our factory is in the UK. And our engineers hold a stock of spare parts to enable any repairs to be made quickly and affordably without resort to third parties.
For our own manufactured lifts we offer a tailored Bronze, Silver or Gold service package which is agreed with yourselves and is suited to the type and level of usage of your lift. We can adjust the number of visits required each year and extend warranty on the wear of parts. Having a service contract with ourselves also entitles you to priority call out to minimise any downtime and access to product trained engineers who will proactively suggest and provide improvement recommendations.

We can also offer tailored packages for lifts installed by ourselves but manufactured by our partners and again provide a range of service options to suit your operational needs.

BRONZE

SILVER

2 - 4 service visits per year.

Lubrication of all moving parts.

Priority response on breakdown calls.

Advice by our technical department on performance and health and safety issues relating to the product.

Free replacement of consumable parts listed.
Push buttons, Bulbs, Aircords, Guide Shoes, Heater switch, limit switch, door switch, contactors, PFFR, Eschion release lock. Labour will be charged at our standard rate.

 
GOLD

2 - 4 Service visits per year.

Lubrication of all moving parts.

Priority response on breakdown calls.

Advice by our technical department on performance and health and safety issues relating to the product.

Full product warranty for the duration of the contract.

Any parts replaced under the warranty including labour will be made free of charge.

Any call-outs for non-warranty work will be charged at our standard rate labour rate less 30%
